Creative Director & CEO
Claire trained with the Metropolitan School of Ballet (RAD), Morisini Whelan School of Dance(IBA), Leixlip Youth Theatre(RIA), Dance Performance in Inchicore VEC and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
Claire started her career on stage but has now immersed herself behind the scenes. She has produced/ choreographed and/or directed productions including; Grease (Best Director nom, Best Choreogapher nom AIMS), Rock of Ages (Best Choreographer AIMS), Our House (Best Choreographer nom, AIMS) Jesus Christ Superstar, High School Musical, Miss Saigon SE, Les Miserables SE, Jekyll and Hyde, and more pantomimes than she cares to remember! Claire was Creative Director of the on-board entertainment including the Childrens Entertainment and the cabaret,“Wilde Nights” on Irish Ferries’ Oscar Wilde for eight successive seasons.
Claire is founder and Creative Director at TheatreworX Stage School & Academy in Leixlip, Kilcock, Dunboyne & Glasnevin while her production company TheatreworX Productions produces professional family friendly theatre including the hugely successful Helix Panto, which she has produced since 2008, establishing the brand as the one of the best professional panto’s in the country, a show she co-writes and choreographs.
Head of Dance
Jennifer started dancing at the tender age of 3, attending ballet classes with the Paula Kearns School Of Ballet (IDTA). She went on to become a member of the Irish National Youth Ballet Company, touring Ireland in many of their productions. Jennifer trained with Leixlip Youth Theatre from a young age, Royal Irish Academy (RIA), and also attended TheatreworX Stage School, were she completed her drama training to Grade 8(Gold Medal) Level, with London Academy Of Music and Dramactic Art, (LAMDA).
Jennifer then went on complete a Diploma in Dance and Teacher Training at Inchicore college of Further Education (ICFE). Here she trained in Child Physiology, Anatomy and Kinesiology as well as many dance styles including RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern Dance to Advanced 1 Level. To further her training Jennifer then went on to study at London Studio Centre, graduating with a BA Hons. Degree in Theatre Dance. Here she trained in many styles of dance, acting and singing, and went on to tour the UK with their Jazz Dance Company.
Jennifer is now a Professional Dancer, Choreographer and Dance Teacher. She has taught for many performing arts schools in London and Dublin and managed NiftyFeet owned by WestEnd/Broadway Choreographer Lynne Page. Jennifer has been a member of LMVG, performing in many of their productions and has choreographed Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast for the group. She also worked as Assistant Choreographer to Claire Tighe, on the Dublin Premiere of High School Musical with MIDAS Productions.
Jennifer spent three seasons as Dance Captain performing on the Irish Ferries, Oscar Wilde Ship as part of the Wilde Nights Cabaret, and then went on to Co-Choreograph the production for a further three seasons. (2009-2015) She performed in Our House, The Madness Musical at the Olympia Theatre with TheatreworX Productions (2012), appeared on RTE’s The Voice of Ireland as a dancer/backing singer (2014), has danced in Season 2 of Desert Wolf Production’s Penny Dreadful on Sky Atlantic (2015), and has performed at many Corporate Events for companies such as AIB and Heineken to name a few.
Most recently Jennifer has just become an Instructor for Darcey Bussells brand new Dance Fitness Program, Diverse Dance Mix (DDMIX) which has just launched in Ireland.
Jennifer also performs and is Dance Captain/Assistant Choreographer for TheatreworX Productions’ Christmas Panto at the Helix Theatre for the last five years, and is delighted to be part of the TheatreworX Family.
Head of Drama
Avril has been acting, singing and dancing since as long as she can remember. She started her training with Billie Barry, vocal training with Maire Ledwith-Butler and Margret Kenny School of Drama. At the young age of 8 she began training with Claire Tighe TheatreworX and has had the opportuinity to perform on the Helix stage playing such roles as Velma Kelly- Chicago, Tracy Turnblad- Hairspray, Ms. Hannigan- Annie, Anita -Westside Story & Sizzle – Beauty & The Beast, Helix Panto.
During her time as a student with Claire she sat her LAMDA(London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) exams and received high results. Avril trained at Inchicore College she completed her Grade 8 Trinity Guildhall in both Drama and Musical Theatre.
Avril is now a full-time teacher for TheatreworX teaching both Drama and Musical Theatre. She is a long standing member of LMVG (Leixlip Musical and Variety Group) and has performed in many pantomimes and musicals including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Westside Story, Jekyll and Hyde, Little Shop of Horrors, Rock of Ages and the TheatreworX Production of Our House in the Olympia.

ISTD Dance Teacher
Melissa trained at the London Studio Centre gaining a B.A Honours in Theatre Dance and her ISTD Teachers Associate Diploma. She danced professionally in musicals including ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘West Side Story’, ‘Godspel’, ‘South Pacific’, ‘Honk’ and ‘The Wiz’ in the West-End and on tour as well as numerous Pantomimes and Summer Seasons.
She moved to Dublin in 2004 where she started her teaching career at The Dublin School of Dance. She holds the ISTD Licenciate Diploma in Ballet and Modern dance and the ISTD Certificate in Dance Educationn.
Melissa taught the Junior company of The Irish National Youth Ballet from 2005-2011 choreographing ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘The Ugly Duckling’ and ‘The Nutcracker’. She has been a member of staff on the Dance Studies course at Inchicore College since 2006 where she trains students for vocational jazz examinations and is an ISTD Tutor for the DDI and DDE Teaching qualifications in Ballet.
As well as Theatreworx, she currently teaches at The Debbie Allen School of Dance in Dundrum and her own school, Citywest Ballet Studio.
